SOBOs Campground Policies & Guest Agreement

*WE ARE NOT ALLOWING ANY OPEN FIRES AT THIS TIME DUE TO DROUGHT CONDITIONS.

Welcome to SOBOs Campground! We are committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for all guests. By staying with us, you agree to the following policies and terms.

Check-In / Check-Out

  • Check-in: 2:00 PM MST

  • Check-out: 12:00 PM MST

  • No need to contact the office for check-out

  • Late check-ins are allowed; please call (605) 863-6488 for instructions

  • Located off Hwy 44 with a 2-mile well-maintained gravel road

Site Assignment

  • Guests must stay in their assigned site

  • Contact management before moving sites

  • Site changes are not guaranteed due to reservations and maintenance

Fires

  • No open fires are allowed due to drought conditions (based on weather conditions)

Parking

  • Parking is limited to your reserved site

  • Contact management for additional parking needs

Park Navigation

  • Do not walk between occupied sites

  • Use designated roads, sidewalks, and paths

Pet Policies

  • Pets must be leashed at all times

  • Guests must clean up after pets; failure may result in removal without refund

  • Do NOT dispose of pet waste in bathroom trash cans

  • Pets may not be left unattended

  • Pets are not allowed on cabin furniture ($50 fee per incident)

  • All pets must be vaccinated

  • Excessive barking is not tolerated

Vehicle Policies

  • Speed limit: 5 MPH

  • ATVs, golf carts, and similar vehicles are allowed but must follow all campground rules and speed limits at all times

Quiet Hours

  • 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Generators are not allowed during quiet hours

  • Violations may result in removal without refund

Trash Disposal

  • Dumpster located at campground entrance

  • All trash must be bagged and placed inside the container

  • No dumping of hazardous materials, furniture, oil, or chemicals

Children

  • Chidren under 18 must be supervised at all times

Fireworks & Firearms

  • Fireworks are strictly prohibited

  • Firearms are only allowed at designated shooting range areas

  • Violations will result in immediate removal without refund

Repairs

  • No vehicle or RV repairs allowed on-site

  • Contact management for local mobile repair services

Reservations, Cancellations & Refunds

  • 48-hour cancellation policy

  • No refunds within 48 hours of arrival

  • $50 cancellation fee applies

  • Contact us if circumstances change—we will do our best to work with you

Weather, Safety & Wildlife

  • In emergencies, call 911 and notify management if possible

  • Monitor weather conditions and take necessary precautions

  • This is a rural property with limited lighting and uneven terrain

  • Wildlife may include deer, antelope, coyotes, badgers, porcupines, rattlesnakes, and more

  • Observe all wildlife from a safe distance

Additional Policies

  • All visitors must be registered with management

  • Guests are responsible for their visitors’ behavior

  • Guests are responsible for proper use of water, sewer, and electric hookups

  • Damages caused by misuse will be charged to the guest

Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

By staying at SOBOs Campground, guests acknowledge and assume all risks associated with outdoor recreation, including but not limited to wildlife encounters, uneven terrain, weather conditions, and use of campground facilities.

SOBOs Campground, its owners, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, damages, loss, or accidents occurring during your stay.

Hold Harmless Agreement

Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless SOBOs Campground, its owners, and staff from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their stay, actions, or use of the property.

Property & Utility Disclaimer

  • SOBOs Campground is not responsible for damage to guest property due to weather, wildlife, other guests, or unforeseen events

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted utilities (water, electric, etc.)

  • No refunds will be issued for outages beyond our control

Property Damage & Guest Responsibility

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to campground property, including but not limited to water hookups, electrical pedestals, buildings, shower houses, roads, landscaping, and any other facilities

  • Any damage caused by a guest, their party, visitors, pets, or vehicles will be the financial responsibility of the registered guest

  • SOBOs Campground reserves the right to charge the guest for repairs, replacements, labor, and any associated costs necessary to restore the property

  • Guests agree to provide valid payment information and authorize SOBOs Campground to charge for any damages incurred during their stay

  • Damage charges may include repair costs, labor, loss of use, and any necessary professional services

Right to Refuse Service

Management reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest without refund for violations of campground policies, unsafe behavior, or disturbances.
