Welcome to SOBOS Campground ("SOBOS Campground," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing this website, making a reservation, or staying at our campground, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or make a reservation.

1. About SOBOS Campground

SOBOS Campground is a family-owned and operated campground located at:

24500 Sobos Road
Scenic, South Dakota 57780

We provide seasonal accommodations including:

Pull-through RV sites
Tent camping
Cabins
Campground amenities and recreational facilities

Our campground operates seasonally, generally from May 1 through Labor Day, weather permitting.

2. Reservations

Reservations may be made through our online reservation system.

Reservations are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until payment has been successfully processed.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel reservations that contain inaccurate information, fraudulent payment methods, or violations of campground policies.

3. Rates & Payment

Rates are displayed during the reservation process and are subject to change without notice.

Applicable taxes and fees may be added during checkout.

Payment is required according to the reservation system's booking requirements.

4. Check-In & Check-Out

Cabin Check-In:
2:00 PM MST

Check-Out:
12:00 PM MST

Late arrivals are welcome. If arriving after normal hours, please contact us at (605) 863-6488 for instructions.

5. Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

Follow all campground rules and posted signage.
Respect quiet hours.
Supervise children.
Keep campsites clean.
Respect neighboring guests.
Use campground facilities responsibly.
Follow all local, state, and federal laws.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the campground without refund.

6. Campground Policies

All guests agree to comply with the current Campground Policies & Guest Agreement, including but not limited to:

Pet policies
Vehicle rules
Quiet hours
Fire restrictions
Safety requirements
Visitor policies
ATV usage
Parking
Wildlife awareness

Campground policies may be updated periodically as operational needs, weather conditions, or safety concerns require.

7. Fire Restrictions

Fire restrictions may change at any time due to drought conditions, county regulations, or state fire bans.

Guests are responsible for complying with all posted fire restrictions during their stay.

8. Pet Policy

Pets are welcome provided they remain under the owner's control at all times.

Guests are responsible for:

Cleaning up after pets
Keeping pets leashed
Preventing excessive barking
Ensuring vaccinations are current

Management reserves the right to require removal of any pet creating a safety concern or disturbance.

9. Damage to Property

Guests are financially responsible for damage caused by themselves, members of their party, visitors, pets, or vehicles.

This includes damage to:

RV utilities
Cabins
Roads
Landscaping
Shower facilities
Electrical pedestals
Water hookups
Buildings
Recreational equipment
Any campground property

Repair and replacement costs may be charged to the registered guest.

10. Assumption of Risk

Camping and outdoor recreation involve inherent risks.

By visiting SOBOS Campground, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with outdoor activities, including but not limited to:

Uneven terrain
Wildlife
Weather conditions
Falling branches
Insects
Recreational activities
Use of campground amenities
Vehicle travel within the campground

Guests accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of members of their party.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SOBOS Campground, its owners, employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for:

Personal injury
Illness
Death
Theft
Loss of property
Damage to vehicles or RVs
Utility interruptions
Weather-related losses
Acts of wildlife
Acts of other guests
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Guests use the campground and its facilities entirely at their own risk.

12. Indemnification

Guests agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SOBOS Campground, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, expenses, or legal costs arising from:

Their stay
Their actions
Their guests
Their pets
Their vehicles
Violations of these Terms & Conditions or campground policies

13. Utility Disclaimer

While we strive to provide reliable services, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to:

Water
Electricity
Wi-Fi
Sewer
Other campground utilities

Temporary outages may occur due to maintenance, weather, utility providers, or unforeseen events.

No refunds will be issued for interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

We make every effort to keep the information on this website accurate and current.

However, we do not guarantee that descriptions, prices, availability, photographs, amenities, or other information will always be complete, accurate, or up to date.

We reserve the right to modify website content at any time without prior notice.
